Week-long events

Children’s Book Drive

A book drive organized by the Social Justice Collective in the School of Education to benefit Raising Readers in Story County. Students, faculty, staff, and visitors will have a number of ways to donate money and books for area children in need from birth through age 8.

How to donate: Pick a book from those requested above by RRSC. These books can be ordered via Amazon. Drop them in the collection box at the locations below. If you want to have books sent directly to RRSC, use this address:

Receipts for book or tickets from Monday’s and Tuesday’s drop offs can be turned in Wednesday in exchange for the philanthropy lunch. 

Drop off times and locations for books

These locations will have a book list available, and you may purchase books online using the laptop at the Book Drive table. You are also welcome to leave a cash donation at the Book Drive table. Both new and very gently used children’s books can be donated and dropped in the collection box at the Book Drive table.
