Human Development and Family Studies

University Professor Peter Martin is a Professor of Human Development and Family Studies. Dr. Martin is an institutional change agent, leading Iowa State’s interdepartmental gerontology program from 1992-1995 and 2000-2012.  He’s an internationally recognized scholar on adult development and aging, and he has shared his expertise as an affiliate in the Human Computer Interaction program and Institute for Social and Behavioral Research. Additionally, he serves as the university’s representative to numerous gerontology related community organizations.
